Why Yoga?

"Yes, there are benefits you can get from just practicing the physical aspect of yoga, but originally Yoga was designed as a complete system for human development."

So why practice Yoga?

What's all the fuss about?

A consistent Yoga practice will:

  • Help you relax

  • Help you manage stress more easily

  • Help you to sleep better

  • Help you to feel more in control of your emotions

  • Make you feel more confident

  • Make you feel more in touch with your body

  • Help you gain strength and flexibility

Sounds amazing doesn't it?

And believe me it's true!

BUT...

It’s important to know that yoga is not just an exercise regime.

A lot of the benefits mentioned above come from relaxation and meditation, the quiet stuff.

Unfortunately, in the west, we tend to dilute and water things down, and that is what has happened with a lot of western yoga practiced today. Many classes focus just on the physical aspect of yoga and this is where people are really missing out.

Yes, there are benefits you can get from just practicing the physical aspect of yoga, but originally Yoga was designed as a complete system for human development.

This system includes working with the breath (pranayama), asana (physical yoga poses), philosophy, ethics and meditation.

Now before you say,

“woah, that’s too intense for me!”

Hear me out:

To practice just one of these on their own is fine, but to really feel all those lovely benefits listed above, you gotta do some internal work too.

Still sound too much?

Now, that’s where I come in!

Feet To Earth Yoga can help you relieve stress and tension using traditional yoga practices in a simple, practical and easy way. You will still get your physical workout, but also soooo much more!

I love to debunk and simplify breath-work and meditation so they can easily be enjoyed by everyone.

Each of my classes includes elements of these techniques and step by step, I will guide you through.
